Our reporting

Welcome to reporting.giz.de, the online version of GIZ’s eighth Integrated Company Report. We have been compiling financial and non-financial information in this voluntary reporting format since 2014. This requires us to take a holistic view of our organisation: the report illustrates how responsibility for sustainability is strategically anchored and implemented at GIZ. As well as financial data and relevant indicators, it also shows how, through its global services, GIZ is working with its commissioning parties and partners to respond to global challenges with effective solutions for sustainable development. The reporting period is the 2021 calendar year.

You can find out more about sustainability at GIZ under the heading Corporate Sustainability. This report was produced in accordance with GRI standards (core option). It also contains information on the non-financial declaration as set out in Section 289b of the German Commercial Code (HGB). Relevant indicators are shown directly in the text. For a summary of all the indicators, see the GRI index table. The table also provides an overview of the progress made towards implementation of the principles of the UN Global Compact, the criteria set out in the German Sustainability Code, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and information on the non-financial declaration as set out in Section 289b HGB.

GIZ’s eighth Integrated Company Report can also be ordered in printed form from our publications database and is available as an accessible pdf document under Downloads.
